Terry over at Ignoring the Barking Dogs has thrown out a challenge of his own for bloggers after reading my Versatility post from the other day. I’m not up to taking on another challenge just yet, so I’ll be passing on it, but you can mosey over and check it out for yourself.

Summertime is here in New Jersey as evidenced by:
- Rabbit on property
- Chipmunk in wood pile
- (Copperhead in wood pile soon follows but it is not hot enough yet)
- Lightning bugs
- Ticks
- Baby ducks (haven’t seen any wee Canada Geese yet, what’s up with that?)
- Dave participating in various cycling time trial events

Yesterday I spent time with my writing project, the actual content. Today I have been tweaking my writing blog, Journeys with the Muse. You can visit it by clicking the photo of my office at the top right of this page. So far today I have added a page, What’s It All About? That page shares the origin of my project and its intention.

The crew shut off power today for a couple of hours while working in the mill. I spent the time outdoors creating a “real” flowerbed in front of our rig. Instead of pots just sitting on the ground, there is a border and an area to actually plant in the ground, while still have pots arranged in front of the planted area. Vague? I understand, so I’ll post photos at some point.

Dinner is leftover quiche from last evening and I am just about ready for it. Looking forward to working on Journeys with The Muse afterwards.
Thanks for stopping by!
What a beautiful summer day. I miss lightning bugs. We don't get them here in CO--at least not at our altitude.
ReplyDeleteOh my... so many critters all making their appearances! You must be the Pied Piper of RVing!
